Meet the Trainer
I’ve always been interested in health and fitness. As a result, I became a personal trainer January 2008. In early 2001, at the age of 14, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). At this point, it progressed into adulthood. Consequently, in 4 years, I became disabled. However, I started biologic medication soon after and I achieved remission within two years.
Unfortunately, I came out of remission in 2013, when my son was born. During the summer of 2017, my Rheumatologist diagnosed me with Lupus (SLE). Above all, I continue to live a healthy life. In fact, my health background is a huge part of why I became a personal trainer. Meanwhile, my disease is monitored closely and managed reasonably well.
No doubt, I manage my health concerns by living an active and well-balanced lifestyle. Presently I compete in NPC bodybuilding shows. In October 2016, I placed 1st in Novice- Bikini Division and 2nd in Open- Bikini Division. In October 2017, I received 1st in Open- Bikini Division. The next show I will be competing in will be June 30th, 2018. In order to learn more about my story, visit my blog.
